David ready to cry on the stage of "Harlem on Parade" because he didn't want to have his picture taken.  My sister, Judith, is in the background in the white dress talking to some of the children of the people in the show.  We had a lot of friends to play with and overall we kids got along pretty well.
David playing with the bracing poles behind the banners.  On windy days he said he was helping hold up the banners.  He was always looking for a way to "fix up or helpup" anything he could.  Not always a good thing if he could get his hands on a sledgehammer that a roustabout had left laying around.

David

This is a picture of David sitting my our truck/home.  You can see the wash that my Mom has hung on one of the tent ropes behind him.  He loved his "bubberols" but had a hard time keeping the straps on his shoulders at time.  He stayed close to where my Mom could see him because he was always trying to rebuild things.
